I live about six different lives. That's at least three careers, two boyfriends, and never enough time to spend with all the brilliant energetic, positive people I'm lucky enough to be friends with.
If that bit of fluff hasn't put you off yet, try this: I'm affectionate, impatient, and I get bored easily. I have a constant compulsion to be busy, even when it would be better for me to chill out for a bit. I value pragmatism, adaptability, independence, and fearlessness when it comes to love. I used to think intelligence was the greatest virtue there is, but these days I place wisdom higher.
I occasionally play dress-up and pretend to be a goth, a fetishist, or a glamorous Londoner but I'm basically a filthy loved-up hippy at heart.

Libellus is the Latin diminuitive of liber, "little book". It meant both "notebook", and a self-publicised chapbook. Poets would get these bound privately and stand on street corners reciting from them in the hope of selling some on the spot, or getting noticed and patronised. Doubly appropriate for a livejournal name, with the advantage of being a geeky Classicist pun. The -um ending has two somewhat nebulous reasons behind it: it's the accusative, being the name of my journal, not me, and therefore the object rather than the subject. It's also a gender-neutral ending, which appealed to me (libelle, the vocative, would also have worked, but libellus felt too masculine). In that sense it's not grammatically correct, since you can't change the gender of nouns, but it achieves the intended effect.
